The Australia-Malaysia Business Council in the Australian Capital Territory (AMBC ACT) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering and enhancing trade and investment relations specifically between Malaysia and the Australian Capital Territory, including the Canberra Region. This strategic partnership aims to create opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration in both territories.
We aim to connect businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals in both regions, fostering strong partnerships and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise. Since 1988, the Australia Malaysia Business Council (AMBC) has operated as a member-based organisation with independent State and Territory chapters across Australia. AMBC’s mission is to foster, support and promote business, investment, and cultural opportunities between Australia and Malaysia.
The Australian Capital Territory chapter, known as the Australia Malaysia Business Council ACT Inc., was established on 16th December 2021 to serve the needs of businesses in the Canberra region.
